Only In America

So Target are being sued in the US. in relation to there web site, Why is it because they have been doing false advertising Nope, is it because they took money without supply goods nope, they are being sued because their web site is not accessible to blind people. Now I am all for making things accessible to anyone with a disability, but this does seem to take it a tad to far. I suspect the issue is that the pictures don't have the alt tags completed with meaningful description although it doesn't explain how the web site is not compliant. If this is the case then its a matter of something being over looked by the developer. The problem as I see it these days if there is a problem with something people tend not to communicate the problem to the service provider the first action is to sue.  keeps the lawyers happy I am sure but I wonder what damage this is doing to communities as a whole. People soon will only communicate via lawyers just in case they are sued Crazy world in what we live in. I wonder what's next will a musical artist be sued for not making his music accessible to deaf people ?
